Privet! I’m a Moscow - based documentary DP and steadicam operator. I started as a writer and photographer for a local newspaper in a Moscow suburb when I was 16. Later on I worked as a freelance photographer on international commissions for The New Yorker, Harpers, The Rolling Stone, TIME, The New York Times Magazine, GQ and others. I decided to take up film in 2010 when I was based in Kabul and for a few years I shot and produced documentaries across Central Asia and the Middle East. In 2015, I joined the HBO show Vice News Tonight as a full time DP and producer. I got back to freelancing in January 2019 and since then have been shooting for HBO, Al Jazeera English and Hulu. I’m currently based in Moscow. Please feel free to get in touch if you need a DP, or if you have a film idea you would like to develop.
